How to Index Your Job Board on Bing?

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to get your job board verified and indexed on Bing.


Step 1: Create a Bing Webmaster Tools Account


  1. Go to Bing Webmaster Tools
  2. Sign up using your Microsoft, Google, or Facebook account.


Step 2: Add Your Job Board


  1. Click “Add a Site” and enter the full URL of your job board (e.g., https://www.yourjobboard.com).
  2. Click “Add” to proceed.


Step 3: Verify Ownership via Meta Tag


  1. Choose the "Meta tag" verification option.
  2. Bing will provide you with a meta tag code, copy the code



  1. In your JBoard dashboard, navigate to Job Board Settings > General > Custom Code
  2. Paste the code in the tag

Step 4: Submit Your Sitemap


Once you’ve verified your domain, navigate to the Sitemaps section from the left panel in your Bing dashboard, and click on Submit Sitemap



In the pop-up, paste your job board's sitemap (e.g. www.yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml) in the field box and click on Submit.
