Closing Job Posts Before Their Expiration Date

Employers can use the Close Job option to deactivate a job post before its expiration date. This is useful when a job has been filled, and the employer no longer needs the listing active.

Here's a video walkthrough on how you can Close the job post:

To Close a Job Post:

Employers will see the option to close a job post under the My Account > Jobs section.

Employers can select the Close Job option from the dropdown menu.

Afterward, the employer needs to choose one of the provided reasons of why they wish to close the job.

As an admin, you can see this information in the Jobs section by locating to the specific job that has been marked with a Closed status.

What Happens When a Job is Closed:

The job will no longer appear as active on the job board.

The job count in your dashboard will remain the same, and the status will appear as Closed.

This helps keep the job board up to date, as employers can close a job once it’s filled instead of deleting it.

Track the Total Number of Closed Jobs:

The admins later can track the total number of closed jobs from the Dashboard. For each specified reason the admin will see a total number when hovering over the info icon.
