When adding a logo to your job board, there are multiple points you need to take into consideration to achieve an optimal view.

# What Size Should Your Logo Be?

Generally, the best practice for aligning the logo fully within your header is to keep them within the following parameters: 

**For horizontally oriented logos:** `100-120 pixels` in height and `375-500 pixels` in width.

**For squared logos:** `160-320 pixels` in height & `160-320 pixels` in width

In the example below, the logo is horizontal and the sizes are 100px (Height) and 420px (Width)

# Common Mistakes When Uploading a Logo

There are common mistakes that people make when uploading their logo. Here are some examples and how you can avoid them.

###### Empty Spaces in Logo

Sometimes, when using a third-party tool to create a logo, the downloaded file may include an image with a lot of empty space, and the actual logo positioned in the center.

When such an image is uploaded as a logo, the presence of these empty spaces will considerably reduce the visual of the logo within the header.

Here’s an example of a logo with a lot of empty space:

**To fix this**, you will need to **crop out the empty spaces** and re-upload an image that fully reflects the logo:

After uploading the new image, you can further customize the logo within the Header Styles section:

###### Background Color

In some cases, the background color of the logo may contradict with the color of your header:

**To fix this**, we recommend uploading a logo with a **transparent background** so that it will not interfere with the header’s color:
